Early on the weekend, Youth Union members of the Border Post of Nam Can International Border Gate, the Nam Can commune Youth Union chapter, customs officers, commune police officers, and other relevant units gathered at Ky Son Medical Center (Muong Xen commune, Nghe An province) to prepare for the “Porridge bowls of compassion” program.

As scheduled, they cooked and handed over 200 porridge bowls to patients undergoing treatment at medical facilities in border areas. In addition, the units presented four gifts to severely ill ethnic patients, contributing to helping them overcoming difficulties.

Units under the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command also focused on education on traditions revolutionary ideals among younger generation.

On the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Border Post of Thanh Thuy International Border Gate collaborated with Thanh Thuy Secondary School (Kim Bang commune) to organize an experiential program for students. Through exchanges and field trips, the students understood more about glorious history of the Youth Union and the heroic traditions of the Border Guard force.

This activity enhanced national pride and awareness among the youth regarding their responsibility to safeguard border sovereignty and security.

In Chau Khe border commune, Chau Khe Border Post’s Youth Union chapter collaborated with Khe Bu and Khe Na villages to organize the "March in border areas" program. The delegation presented gifts to needy households and 200 notebooks to disadvantaged students to support their education.

A program highlight included volunteer efforts such as free haircuts for local students. Additionally, youth union members assisted two underprivileged families in cleaning their homes and improving their living environment, reflecting the close ties between border troops and the community.

Furthermore, Phuc Son Border Post’s Youth Union chapter, the commune’s Youth Union Organization, and Anh Son Medical Center provided free health check-ups and medicines to over 150 residents across four border villages.

This initiative enhanced primary healthcare for residents in remote areas. The unit also intensified efforts to popularize the Vietnam Border Guard Law, raising local awareness and responsibility in national border security.

Furthermore, the unit launched a digital transformation dissemination program for Phuc Son Secondary School students, providing essential skills for the digital age.

The "March in border areas" activities have been implemented synchronously by Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command units, directly addressing local needs. Through these actions, border guard youths reaffirmed their pioneering role in socio-economic development and social order, strengthening the all-people border defense posture.
