The event was a practical activity to mark the the 94th anniversary of the foundation day of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day and to welcome the Party congresses at all levels, heading towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The “Youth Month, March in Border Area” program in Quang Duc commune featured various activities, including visits to historical sites, learning about the history of Po Hen Historical Relic Site, providing free health examination and medicines for locals, and giving gifts to officers and soldiers of Quang Duc Border Post, local students, and disadvantaged families in Hai Ha district. The total value of the program was VND 75 million.

The “Youth Month, March in Border Area” program aimed to raise awareness among youth union members about national sovereignty, while strengthening solidarity and unity between youths of Quang Ninh’s armed forces and young local people in the cause of protecting the nation's territorial sovereignty and border security.
