Early in the morning, officers and soldiers of Na Ngoi Border Post, together with local Party committee, authorities, and residents of Tang Phan village decorated the village streets with national flags. The red flags with yellow stars fluttering proudly against the backdrop of border mountains and forests created an atmosphere of solemnity and excitement, evoking national pride and a deep sense of responsibility among villagers toward safeguarding national sovereignty and border security.
As part of the program, the post presented a lot of gifts to disadvantaged households. These presents demonstrated the care and companionship of local border troops for the lives of people in this remote borderland.
Notably, the post’s officers and soldiers prepared and shared a “National Day loving meal” with the family of Vi Thi My, a poor ethnic household facing hard living condition. My lost her husband early and singlehandedly cares for her four children, all born with congenital neurological disorders. Though simple, the warmhearted meal brought joy and timely support to her family on the nation’s big day.
