Previously, more than 500 people in Duc Co commune, Chu Prong district, also had their health checked. They received free medicines and were instructed on how to prevent some diseases by the unit. 

The social activity has helped ethnic minority people improve their health and develop their household economy while promoting the military-civilian solidarity.

On the same day, Commando Brigade 198 of the Commando Corps handed over a house to needy non-commissioned Captain Nguyen Van Vuong in Hoa Trung hamlet, Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pach district of Dak Lak province.

The 100s.qm house was built at a cost of VND 400 million, which was funded by the Ministry of National Defense. Troops of the unit helped construct the house.

Reportedly, since early 2019, the brigade and the corps have constructed four houses for needy troops and local residents.
