Ho Chi Minh City delegation starts visit to troops in Southwestern waters

Flowers and incense offered to fallen troops of No-number ships at their monument.

The delegation includes Second-in-Command of the Naval Service Rear Admiral Luong Viet Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Hieu, Political Commissar of Naval Region 5 Rear Admiral Nguyen Dang Tien, Second-in-Command and Chief of Staff of Naval Region 2 Senior Captain Le Ba Quan, and more than 160 representatives of the municipal departments and organizations, and functional agencies of the Naval Service, Naval Regions 2 and 5.

Wish of fair winds and following sea from delegates to the delegation

Before the start of the visit, the delegation held a meeting to equip its members with the trip’s contents and regulations. They also offered incense and flowers at the Monument and Temple dedicated to heroes and fallen troops of the No-number ships in the campus of Brigade 125.

As planned, the delegation will visit, hold exchanges, and present gifts to cadres, soldiers, people, and other forces on platform DK1/10 and islands namely Con Dao, Hon Khoai, Tho Chu, Hon Chuoi, Nam Du, Hon Doc and Phu Quoc.

The visit lasts until October 1.
