General Nguyen Trong Nghia attends school year opening ceremony in Tay Ninh

The ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, was held nationwide in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation. At Tran Van Giau High School for the Gifted venue, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegates, officials, teachers, and students followed the program, observed the flag-saluting ceremony, sang the national anthem, and took part in the opening drum ceremony in line with the proceedings at the central venue. 

Amid the festive atmosphere of the new school year, General Nguyen Trong Nghia handed flowers and gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to the school, as well as scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances. He encouraged them to work hard and achieve good results in their studies and training.

GDP’s Chairman also met with the school’s officials, teachers, and students. He inquired about teaching and learning and encouraged the students to study and train diligently while nurturing their dreams and aspirations.

He expressed his hope that the students would uphold the tradition of studiousness, stay united and help one another progress, and strive to become responsible citizens who contribute to building their hometown and country.
