Earlier, fishing vessel QNa 90859-TS, captained by Huynh Van Tri (47, from Nui Thanh commune, Da Nang city), ran into trouble about 35 nautical miles west of An Bang Island. Functional maritime forces promptly rescued all crew-members and transferred them safely to Truong Sa Island on August 29 aboard fisheries surveillance vessel KN-472.

The officers and soldiers on Truong Sa Island hand over essential supplies to fishermen before they board the ship to return to the mainland.

During their stay, the fishermen received medical examinations, daily accommodations, and essential provisions. Island commanders also presented support packages valued at approximately 10 million VND before departure. All 32 fishermen are currently in stable health conditions and good spirits. The voyage to the mainland is expected to take two to three days.

Each fisherman is kindly assisted by the officers and soldiers as they board the ship.

This timely assistance underscores Truong Sa's role as a steadfast support base for Vietnamese fishermen at sea, reinforcing maritime safety and national defense.
