"Zero dong" stall strengthens military-civilian ties

Troops of Lai Hoa Border Post present gifts to needy people at the event.

During the event, the unit presented 130 gift packages to local households facing particularly difficult circumstances. Each package, worth VND 350,000, was expected to ease their difficulties and help locals celebrate the National Day in a joyful and warm atmosphere.

The "Zero dong" stall was a practical initiative by Lai Hoa Border Post’s officers and soldiers to promote social welfare, strengthen mass mobilization, and reinforce military-civilian solidarity. It also helped strengthen the image of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” among local residents, particularly Khmer ethnic people in the coastal border area.

During the program, the unit also visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to three elderly people living alone in Xeo Coc hamlet, Lai Hoa commune, and Vinh Phuoc ward.

Through these practical activities, Lai Hoa Border Post continues to play a key role in mass mobilization, working with local Party committees and authorities to improve people’s lives, build a strong coastal border area, and preserve and promote military-civilian solidarity.
