With the plan approved, Brigade 249 quickly began connecting and securing the bridge sections to form a complete pontoon bridge. By approximately 10:50 a.m., the bridge had been assembled, and the delegates were invited to inspect the structure.

Colonel Giang also highlighted the need for continuous monitoring of the river's flow and adjusting accordingly to ensure safety. After the bridge is operational, the unit is required to coordinate with local authorities to ensure the safety of people and vehicles crossing the bridge.

The pontoon bridge started to be open to traffic from the morning of September 30, with vehicles allowed to cross from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The bridge will be disconnected from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to allow water traffic to pass, and then reconnected by the engineering troops from 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.
