Guided by the directive "pro-active prevention, timely response, swift and effective recovery, with an emphasis on prevention" and following the "4-on-the-spot" principle (on-site command, on-site forces, on-site resources, and on-site logistics), the regional coast guard command has rigorously conveyed the disaster response and search-and-rescue mission to all officers and soldiers.
To ensure readiness, all units have maintained all personnel and equipment on standby, with vessels and boats prepared for search and rescue operations. They have reviewed the technical status of all equipment and ensured secured moorings for all ships. Additional stormproofing and equipment safeguarding measures are in place, with materials moved to secure locations.
