Bringing Tet to poor patients
PANO - To bring a cozy lunar New Year (Tet) to poor patients who are saving any Vietnamese dong and daily fighting their illness, Brigade 29 under Military Region 9 and Can Tho’s Vietnamese-American Schools (VASchools) jointly made banh tet (cylindrical sticky rice cakes) to present to patients in need in hospitals, disadvantaged students and people in Can Tho city.
Each cake given by VASchools’s teachers and students and Brigade 29’s officers and soldiers carried joy, helping impoverished patients and people feel love and sincere care.
The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of this meaningful banh tet-making program.
