Brigade 189’s youths pay tribute to fallen soldiers at Gac Ma soldiers' memorial site

In a solemn atmosphere, officers and Youth Union members from the units and localities pay a minute of silence in commemoration of 64 fallen heroes of the Vietnam People’s Navy who sacrificed themselves for the Fatherland’s independence and freedom.

After the incense offering ceremony, the units’ officers and youths learned about the traditions of the Vietnam People’s Navy and the heroic sacrifices of 64 naval officers and soldiers in the cause of protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands.

This was part of activities within the "Youth Month" program organized by Naval Brigade 189's Youth Union Organization, aiming to educate officers and Youth Union members of the sacrifices of previous generations, as well as uphold the glorious tradition of the Vietnam People’s Navy, contributing to fostering the revolutionary ideals, national pride, and the spirit of resilience of young generations.
