The event was organized to commemorate the 71st anniversary of the Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day and the 50th anniversary of Dong Loc T-Junction Victory and to pay tribute to ten young female volunteers who sacrificed themselves at the Dong Loc T-Junction. Present at the event were military generals, war veterans, national contributors and representatives of central and local agencies.
In recent years, the People’s Army Newspaper regularly collaborated with relevant agencies to launch practical activities to pay tribute to national contributors, war invalids and heroic martyrs, particularly in celebration of the Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day.
During the art program, the organizers presented gifts to 10 families of local revolution contributors.
