Border troops towing the troubled trawler ashore

Accordingly, at 6am, a trawler, owned by Hoang Nhan, 34 years old from Thach Tri commune, Thach Ha district, sank a nautical mile off Cua Sot due to enormous waves.

Upon receiving the information, the Cua Sot Border Guard Station sent its troops to work with fishermen on other trawlers to rescue the troubled fishermen.

An hour later, the rescue team rescued the troubled fishermen and lifted and towed the trawler ashore.

At present, the unit’s troops and fishermen are fixing the damaged trawler before taking it to a safer place to avoid further damage from bad weather.

* Meanwhile, brigade 962 of Military Region 9 mobilized 13 troops and canoes to stamp out a fire and save five sailors. It was reported that flames broke out on the ship of Nguyen Ngoc Nua from Dong Thap province on November 21 as it was transporting rice straw from Chau Doc to Vam Cong.
