Troubled fishermen receives help
PANO – On September 4, the medical staff of Phan Vinh Island’s Infirmary provided first aid for injured fisherman Pham Mot who works on trawler QNg-90854TS.
Earlier on September 3, Mot suffered a head injury while fishing octopus at sea. Due to heavy bleeding, the fisherman felt dizzy.

After being taken to Phan Vinh Island by his crewmembers, the fisherman’s wound was sutured by the infirmary’s medical personnel and he was injected with antibiotics and painkillers. He is recovering now.
On the same day, the Co Luy Border Checkpoint of the Sa Ky Border Gate Border Post under the Quang Ngai provincial Border Guard Command received two distressed fishermen, Do Hong Hoan and Nguyen Thu from Nghia An commune of Quang Ngai City, crewmembers of trawler QNg-97654TS.
Earlier, the fishermen’s trawler was broken while going from Sa Huynh to Cua Dai.

Receiving the information, the Sa Ky Border Gate Border Post and local authorities asked QNg-97654TS’s owner to go to the scene to rescue the troubled fishermen.
After two hours of struggling with strong winds and high waves, the trawler found the fishermen, provided them with first aid and took them to the Co Luy Border Checkpoint.
