In 2025, Regiment 285 will focus on training tasks for troops at all levels and effectively utilizing and mastering technical equipment. The unit aims to complete 100% of the training program, with good or excellent results in competitions and exercises.

In his speech, General Quyet requested the ADAF Service’s Party Committee, chains-of-command, and troops to thoroughly grasp the Party’s military and defense strategies and strictly implement resolutions and directives from the Central Military Commission and the Defense Ministry, with a focus on Resolution No.1659-NQ/QUTW on enhancing training quality in the 2023-2030 period and the following years. It should also promote the leadership role of leaders at all levels on combat readiness training, while conducting training as regulated with advanced technology applied.

In addition, the unit was asked to conduct exercises, and competitions with strict discipline, safety, and effectiveness, while ensuring combat readiness, pro-actively taking action to prevent and control natural disasters, implementing search and rescue mission as well as fire prevention, to name but a few.

* On the same day, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Defense Minister General Nguyen Tan Cuong, attended a similar ceremony at Brigade 147, Naval Region 1. Present at the event were Commander of the Naval Service Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, and Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang.

In 2025, the brigade will continue enhancing training quality, with comprehensive, specialized, and modern training. It will focus on training in line with scenarios and reality, and mastering weapons and equipment. Brigade 147 will also strengthen night exercises and training in complicated weather conditions, and attach much importance to protecting national sovereignty over sea and islands and building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern force, and more.

Addressing the event, General Cuong instructed Brigade 147 to fully grasp the Party’s defense and military policies and strictly implement resolutions and directives from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense.

Therefore, the brigade must enhance training quality and combat readiness, meeting task requirements in the current context. It should also review and adjust documents, and be ready in any circumstances.

Regarding training work for recruits, the brigade must ensure training program as regulated with high quality and absolute safety, among others.

* Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien attended and delivered a speech at a ceremony held at Regiment 141, Division 3, Military Region 1 to kick off the training season. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Hong Thai, Commander of Military Region 1 was also present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, General Chien asked Regiment 141 to thoroughly implement the Party’s defense and military guidelines and policies and strictly follow resolutions and directives from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on training.

Accordingly, the regiment must boost training quality and combat readiness, closely coordinate with local authorities and forces to grasp the situation to be ready in any circumstances, contributing to ensuring political security and social order.

Meanwhile, it should promote innovation, apply IT in training, launch the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement, combine military training with political education, and ensure weapons and equipment for training and combat readiness mission.

* A similar ceremony was held to kick off training and launch the “Swiftness – Determination to win” peak emulation campaign at Division 316, Military Region 2, drawing the attendance of Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Huy Vinh.

Implementing the 2023-2030 resolution on improving training quality, Division 316 has made thorough preparations for training mission in all fields.

In his speech, General Vinh requested Division 316 to strictly conduct the Party’s military and defense guidelines and policies, strictly implement resolutions and directives from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense. The unit must enhance training and combat readiness, while officers should be equipped with comprehensive knowledge and skills. The division should also work closely with relevant forces and local authorities to conduct exercises with absolute safety and good outcomes.

* Attending the ceremony at Regiment 43, Division 395, Military Region 3, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Vu Hai San praised the regiment’s achievements and urged them to strictly follow military and defense policies, promote training and combat readiness. He also encouraged recruits to overcome challenges, strengthen political stance so as to make contribution to the cause of national construction and defense.

* Speaking at a ceremony to kick off training at Regiment 692, Division 301, Hanoi Capital Command, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam asked the unit to improve training quality and combat readiness work, be ready in any circumstances. He also called for discipline enforcement, in order to build a comprehensively strong unit and a clean and strong Party organization.

* During the ceremony at Regiment 9, Division 8, Military Region 9, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Sr. Lt. Gen. Huynh Chien Thang emphasized that the unit should strictly adhere to training resolutions in 2023-2030 period. He urged practical training as scheduled and regulated, in combination with mass mobilization work and raising troops’ lives.

* Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Thai Dai Ngoc commended the unit’s achievements in training new recruits and task implementation during the similar ceremony held at Training Center 334, Department of Staff, General Department of Logistics - Technical Services. In 2025, the center will focus on comprehensive and specialized training in line with reality, ensuring safety during live-fire exercises, among others.

* At the ceremony to kick off training and launch the “Swiftness – Determination to win” peak emulation campaign at Division 302, Military Region 7, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc emphasized the need for grasping situations to make timely recommendations to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense.

He called for strict combat readiness, high-quality training from the beginning so as to achieve outstanding results.

* Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, attended and directed the 2025 training launch ceremony and the high-intensity emulation campaign “Swiftness - Determination to win” at the Commando Brigade 5, a waterborne commando brigade of the Commando Corps. He emphasized the need for the unit to enhance training quality, closely integrate combat training with political education, and ensure the structured and high-quality training of new recruits.

* Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, attended and directed the training launch ceremony at the Reconnaissance College under the General Department II. He commended the school’s achievements and emphasized the need for continued innovation in education and training, improvement of combat readiness, strict adherence to training protocols, and ensuring high-quality training for new soldiers.

* Sr. Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh, Deputy Director of the GDP, attended and launched the high-intensity emulation campaign at Artillery Brigade 45 of the Artillery Corps. He directed the unit to enhance training quality, participate in competitions and exercises, and successfully execute live-fire drills, military parades, and ceremonial firing during the 80th anniversary celebrations of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

* Lt. Gen. Nguyen Trong Binh, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, directed the training launch ceremony at Brigade 215 of the Armored Corps. He instructed the unit to maintain its title as an “Exemplary, Outstanding Unit,” conduct joint military exercises, provide high-quality training for new recruits, and integrate technology into training to enhance combat capabilities.

* Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, delivered remarks at the training launch ceremony of the Thanh Hoa provincial armed forces. He urged units to strengthen awareness and responsibility in training, strictly maintain combat readiness, innovate training methods, improve party organization development, and ensure the well-being of soldiers.

He instructed the unit to foster high determination, improve training quality and combat readiness in line with practical mission requirements, innovate management methods, and properly train new recruits as per regulations.

* Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung, Deputy Director of the GDP, directed the training launch ceremony at Regiment 18 (Division 325, Army Corps 12). He emphasized the need to modernize training content and methods, integrate military training with political education, enhance discipline, and build a comprehensively strong unit.
