An overview of the meeting

The Party committees and authorities at all levels have paid great attention to ensuring benefits for troops’ families with practical activities such as giving savings books and gifts or supporting families of new enlistees, who are in difficulties, with the total fund of over VND 21 billion.

Under the instruction of the General Staff about the handover of new recruits in 2022 amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, Thu Duc city and HCMC will implement the handover of new recruits to units without official ceremonies. New recruits have to gather at regulated places and have health declaration and RT-PCR tests before entering their units.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee and Chairman of the Council of Military Service of HCMC Phan Van Mai highly valued efforts of relevant forces. He urged the units and localities to continue implementing their set plans, grasping all situations, and ensure safety for the handover.
