* According to the information provided by the Vietnam Border Guard Command, to brace for storm No.6, as of 15:00 on October 26, the functional force has counted and informed more than 67,200 vehicles with nearly 308,000 people on the developments and direction of the storm. Currently, no vehicles are in danger and vehicles in the affected area are moving to avoid it.

According to information from the Department of Dyke Management and Disaster Prevention and Control, as of 17:00 on October 26, hydroelectric reservoirs in the North Central region were operating normally, except for the South Central Coastal region and the Central Highlands, where two hydroelectric reservoirs were operating to regulate the overflow and overflow discharge. * In order to prevent heavy rains, flooding, and landslides, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Da Nang city required localities to evacuate people as planned. For dangerous areas with a high risk of flooding, the city requested the localities to mobilize forces and vehicles to stay ready for the missions.

Apart from forces performing combat readiness duties, units built up teams for disaster prevention and control at all levels, closely monitoring and grasping storm developments, giving advice to local Party committees and authorities to inspect and review degraded high-rise apartment buildings, key areas at-risk of flash floods, landslides, riverbank and stream bank erosion, low-lying areas, to name but a few.
