Having learned about the situation, Regiment 290 of Division 375 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service promptly directed Radar Station 54 in Quang Tri province and Radar Station 56 in Quang Binh province to mobilize troops to assist people.

Upon receiving the task, on September 19, Radar Station 56 deployed 30 troops to assist local people in Nam Trach commune, Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province to implement measures to brace for the storm.

In detail, the unit shortened trees, reinforced houses’ roofs for 12 households, dealt with fallen trees after the fourth storm, and assisted needy families and the elderly, to name but a few.

Meanwhile, 20 troops of Radar Station 54 helped teachers and students of Trieu Ai Primary School, Trieu Ai and Trieu Giang Kindergartens in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province reinforce the schools; supported Phan Van Quy's family in Phu Ang village, Trieu Giang commune to move rice to dry place and assisted people from Tra Lien Tay village, Trieu Giang commune, Trieu Phong district, to surmount storm aftermath.

Currently, the units are on standby to assist people in overcoming the storm consequences.
