PANO - The Song Thu Corporation under the General Department of Defence Industry on March 17th launched and handed over the cargo ship DWFL 5412/YN522811 in Da Nang City.

Construction of the ship started on December 13th, 2012, under a contract inked on September 30th, 2011 by the corporation and the Dutch Damen Group. This ship is part of the order including three DWFL 5412 and one DWL 6312.

The DWFL 5412/YN522811 is 54m long and 12m wide. It has a transport capacity of 800 cubic meters of reserved petroleum to fuel other ships.

This ship is equipped with two Caterpillar diesel engines with total capacity of 1,500 BHP, and operates at a speed of 10 nautical miles per hour.
