The GDP Chief requested relevant agencies to consider the feedback and recommendations presented at the conference and continue to coordinate efforts to revise, supplement, and finalize the contents and requirements of the upcoming program. This program aims to honor outstanding individuals and review a decade of implementing Directive 05. He stressed that the event must spotlight the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army, the Party’s guidelines and roadmap for building a compact, elite, and strong military, President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings on building the armed forces, and the broad impact of Directive 05 across the military.
The program must also highlight the military’s efforts in overcoming challenges to effectively conduct training and maintain combat readiness, its proactive engagement with the people, coordination with local authorities to strengthen grassroots political systems, and contributions to socio-economic development and poverty reduction. In addition, it should showcase the military’s achievements in scientific research, technological application, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and building a digital society.
Senior Lieutenant General Quyet emphasized that the documentaries presented at the event must effectively reflect the military’s achievements in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style. They should also highlight exemplary individuals in fulfilling the military’s roles as a combat force, a workforce, and a production force. Furthermore, the artistic performances must align closely with the program’s content, creating strong emotional resonance that enhances the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers and reinforces public trust in the military’s robust and sustainable development.
