Outstanding female orators in the military awarded
PANO – The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) concluded the Military Female Orators' Festival in Hanoi on October 3 in the presence of its Deputy Director, Lieutenant General Le Hien Van.
Nearly 200 orators, women’s union members and cadres from 14 teams joined the two-day event, hosted by the Army Women's Board under the General Department of Politics.

According to the organizing panel, the participants brought to the festival interesting performances of different types of oral and visual popularization, singing, dancing, and poem recitation. The performances left a deep impression on the audiences.
The performance topics focused on outcomes of the implementation of Uncle Ho's teachings, promoting the heroic traditions of the Vietnamese women, highlighting contributions by servicewomen in the military, and demonstrating women-related social issues such as gender equality, rights of women and children, and State law observation.
At the end of the program, the leadership of the General Department of Politics handed over certificates for 14 outstanding orators and prizes to other organizations and individuals who made contributions to the success of the festival.
