Fourteen teams with 150 orators and amateur actors from units under the Border Guard Command of Quang Nam province and its twinned units participated in the festival. The teams presented their shows in two parts, including music performances and presentations. The topics for presentations focused on promoting the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Vietnam Border Guard, demonstrating love for the country’s seas and islands, and honoring outstanding individuals and groups for their efforts in studying and following Uncle Ho's morals.
Addressing the event, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, Deputy Political Commissar of the Quang Nam provincial Border Guard Command, Head of the organizing panel, said that this festival contributed to disseminating information, and encouraged troops, youth union members to raise their awareness of and responsibility for preserving and promoting the “Uncle Ho's soldiers” title in the current context.
The festival was also a chance for each soldier and youth union member to show their talent and exchange experience in the unit's information dissemination, thus contributing to successfully fulfilling all assigned political tasks, he added.
