NA mission works at MR9

In its reports, the MR9 Command pointed out that it had well fulfilled all military-defense assigned missions in 2016 and in the first eight months of this year, including the strict implementation of combat readiness mission, the close monitoring of the assigned region’s situation, the timely proposals to the Ministry of National Defense, the Steering Committee of the Southwestern region and local Party committees and authorities in dealing with defense-security issues in the region. Training missions have been implemented with drastic changes as 100% of the trainees attained high results. The Party Committee and Chain-of-Command of MR9 have directed relevant subordinate units to supplement contents to combat and search-and-rescue plans in the defensive area. This contributed greatly to the successful task performance of the forces.

Addressing the working session, NA Vice-Chairman Do Ba Ty hailed the achievements of MR9 over the past time and stressed that the military region should continue to perform well all defense-security missions, strictly maintain combat readiness, closely carry out training and education work for all trainees, effectively join hands with locals in building new-style rural areas, and more.
