Minister of Information and Communications visits PAN
PANO - A delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC), led by its Minister Nguyen Manh Hung, visited and congratulated the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) on the occasion of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925- 2022) on June 20.
At the meeting with the MIC delegation, the PAN’s Editor-in-Chief Major General Doan Xuan Bo briefed delegates on the history and development of the PAN.

Accordingly, after 72 years, the PAN has actively implemented digital transformation and the multilateral press agency project. The PAN’s staffers have always promoted solidarity, overcome hardships, and completed assigned missions.
General Bo also proposed Minister Nguyen Manh Hung to create more favorable conditions for the PAN to implement the multilateral press agency project in the time to come.

Speaking at the event, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung spoke highly of the achievements of the newspaper over the past time, and at the same time stressing that the agency should develop in line with the development of the whole-country press agencies. He urged the newspaper to actively apply technologies and enhance digital transformation to improve the effectiveness of their task implementation, with a focus on the infrastructure and personnel.

The minister believed that under the leadership of its Party Committee and Editorial Board, the PAN will continue to renew and improve its prestige among readers, significantly contributing to the building of the Vietnamese revolutionary press sector.
