An overview of the event

At the event, Senior Colonel Le Xuan Hung, rector of the school, reported that thanks to the attention and investment of the State, the MND, and the Signal Corps, the school has met all assigned targets and missions.

It has seriously embraced and carried out the Central Military Commission’s Resolution 1658-NQ/QUTW on military logistics work by 2030 and beyond; effectively conducted movements, such as “Military logistics sector follows Uncle Ho’s teachings,” “Building a unit with good troops and good management of military supplies,” “Building and managing barracks in a regular, green, clean, and beautiful fashion,” and ensured all policies for troops. Attentively, in the 2021-2025 period, the school has implemented six projects and two structure works with the total investment of more than VND 585 billion and ensured their progress.

Having heard about the results of the field check of the MND’s functional agencies and reports delivered at the meeting, Gen. San applauded the school for its task accomplishments in the past, particularly in education and training, scientific research, smart school building, logistics supplies for troops and capital construction investment.

Given strong development of science and technology, Gen. San asked the school to develop itself into a modern and smart school that requires its cadres and instructors to improve their professional expertise.

Regarding the training for signal officers, the deputy defense minister noted that apart from signal expertise, they should be equipped with skills to raise their capability in commanding, giving suggestions in terms of operation, logistics supply and technical services.

The MND leader asked the school to pay attention to building facilities to meet both short- and long-term development requirements and use public investment capital reasonably and legally.
