After hearing reports from relevant agencies and units and opinions raised at the meeting, General Phan Van Giang, on behalf of the CMC Standing Board, agreed with the design and investment plan for the Military Theater. He requested relevant agencies and units to continue studying and refining the plan toward an optimal and modern design that meets both immediate and long-term requirements.

The theater should not only meet the requirements of performing arts but also become a cultural landmark, reflecting the implementation of Party resolutions on cultural development in the new era, particularly Politburo Resolution No.80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture.

General Phan Van Giang stressed that the project should be implemented in accordance with regulations, while ensuring the effective use of investment resources. The General Department of Political Affairs was tasked with taking the lead and coordinating with relevant agencies to establish a project management board and select capable and experienced consulting and supervision organizations.

The theater should be developed to be elegant and modern while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency. The defense chief also requested careful planning for the management, operation, and utilization of the theater after completion. Meanwhile, relevant agencies and units were asked to pro-actively coordinate, clearly define responsibilities, timelines and implementation roadmaps, and ensure that the project is carried out in a coordinated manner, with high quality and in accordance with the schedule.
