Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam attended the event.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Central Military Commission’s Standing Board and the Ministry of National Defense leadership, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam praised and congratulated the factory on its outstanding achievements over the past years.
To fulfill its assigned tasks in the coming period, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam asked the factory to focus on thoroughly understanding and strictly implementing the Party’s, State’s and military’s guidelines and directives on strategic autonomy, defense industry development, and the combination of economic development with national defense.

He urged the factory to closely follow developments in weapons and technical equipment used in wars and conflicts around the world. This would enable the factory to propose solutions for ensuring and developing specialized munitions and pyrotechnic products, meeting requirements for the production and repair of weapons and technical equipment in the whole military.
The factory was asked to organize production and business activities efficiently, safely and in accordance with the law, while integrating business operations with social responsibility. It should operate its fireworks production facilities effectively, continuously improve technologies and quality, and maintain the reputation and brand of Factory Z121 fireworks, while striving to win top awards at international fireworks festivals.
The defense leader also called on the factory to strengthen cooperation, expand markets and increase product exports; promote corporate culture and build customer trust; develop the factory toward a smart, efficient and safe production model; and accelerate the application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
On the occasion, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam presented the First-class Fatherland Protection Order to Factory Z121.
