The Japanese military delegation’s visit aimed at the program on enhancing ASEAN-Japan capacity in cybersecurity, which is expected to take place in July.

Accordingly, the Japanese side took a tour to the Information Technology and Foreign Language Center - the venue for the mentioned program to take place. The Vietnamese side briefed the Japanese delegation upon the features, structure, functions and tasks of the center. In addition, the Japanese delegation inspected the quality of facilities and the systems of specialized rooms, equipment, and computers, among others.

After the inspection, the Japanese delegation worked with the Signal Officer Training School on the preparation for the upcoming program on enhancing ASEAN-Japan capacity in cybersecurity.

Speaking at the working session, Sr. Col. Le Xuan Hung affirmed that the school would actively coordinate with and support the Japanese side in all aspects, including receptions, accommodations, computers, etc., as well as ensure medical care and safety according to the Japanese side’s requirements.

Meanwhile, the school would create favorable conditions for participating instructors and learners to complete the targets and requirements of the program.
