This academic year, the academy will receive trainees from agencies and units across the military, as well as trainees from the Lao People’s Army and the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, under decisions assigned by the General Staff. The trainees will be enrolled in 13 training majors.
The academy will continue to pursue breakthroughs in education and training, while renewing curricula and programs by reducing classroom time devoted to theory and increasing exchanges, discussions and practical training. It will step up the application of information technology and digital transformation, and make greater use of digital learning resources, smart classrooms and artificial intelligence in teaching, practice and exercises.

* In Khanh Hoa, the Naval Academy joined an online ceremony to launch the 2026-2027 academic year organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Following the opening ceremony, the academy launched the 2026-2027 “Determined to Win” emulation movement under the theme “Unity, discipline, creativity, efficiency and safety.” The emulation movement will focus on renewing content and methods and improving the quality and effectiveness of political education and social sciences and humanities. It will effectively implement the motto “The academy’s training quality is the unit’s combat readiness” and the breakthrough initiative of “Stepping up digital transformation in education and training activities and standardizing training programs to promptly meet requirements and tasks in the new situation.”
* In the new academic year, the Army Officer Candidate School No.1 is determined to effectively apply modern teaching methods and digital transformation to the teaching and learning process; renew and improve the quality of foreign-language teaching and learning; and pilot the teaching of several subjects in English.

* On the same day, Army Officer Candidate School No.2 organized the reception of students admitted in 2026.
To welcome the new cadets, the school had carefully prepared accommodation, meals, living arrangements and facilities for study and training. Officers and cadets from previous courses were also assigned to support and guide the newcomers, helping them quickly adapt to the disciplined military environment.
* The Central Junior Cadet School (Military Region 5) held a ceremony to launch the 2026-2027 academic year.
Established on March 20, 2026, the school has rapidly consolidated its organization and made thorough preparations in all aspects for its inaugural academic year, which will have 240 students.
To ensure the best possible conditions for the new academic year, the school proactively coordinated with the Da Nang municipal Department of Education and Training to obtain a school code and officially connect to the national education system. It also organized the appraisal of 92 textbooks, sent its officers and teachers for professional training, and made comprehensive preparations for the new academic year.
