Military Region 2 holds training course for its newspaper’s collaborators

The event was chaired by Deputy Political Chief of Military Region 2 Senior Colonel Nguyen Nhu Bach.

During the one-day course, participants studied the situation of press management and press activities in the military in general and Military Region 2 in particular. They were also equipped with skills to find topics, process information, and write articles; experience in disseminating information related to military and defense affairs; trends in development of online newspapers; methods of sharing press works on social media via mobile phones.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Senior Colonel Nguyen Nhu Bach affirmed that over the past years, under the direction of the Party Committees and Chain-of-Command of Military Region 2, agencies and units at all levels, information dissemination work of Military Region 2 has been paid due attention to. Military Region 2’s Newspaper has actively and pro-actively covered activities of troops of the military region’s armed forces and people in the region, serving as a source of encouragement for troops and people. 

Those achievements have resulted from efforts and solidarity of reporters of Military Region 2’s Newspaper and great contribution of collaborators from agencies, units and localities in the region.

Collaborators with rich practical experience have helped the newspaper diversify its information.

The training course aimed to enhance political stance, professional competence, skills of the newspaper’s collaborators to meet task requirements in the new period.
