PANO - The Infantry Academy cooperated with local authorities to fulfill tasks of mass mobilization in 2006. The academy also swore brotherhood with local organisations, schools and communes with ethnic minority people.

The unit has helped ethnic people change ways of farming and breeding to improve their living standards. So far, the academy has built 5 houses of gratitude for ethnic people, raised 500 million VND for poor people and Agent Orange victims.

The academy has sent 2 medical groups to Cat Linh and Di Linh communes to provide free check-ups and medicines for local people and present gifts to social beneficiaries.

In addition, the Army unit has also provided knowledge on national defence for over 10,000 students from local universities and colleges.
