PANO – The Infantry Academy held a solemn ceremony on July 2nd to mark its 65th Founding Anniversary and receive the Golden-Star Order, with the attendance of Lieutenant-General Do Ba Ty, Chief-of-the-General-Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army and Deputy-Defence Minister.

By proxy of the State President, General Ty presented a Certificate of Merit and pinned the Medal onto the Academy’s military flag “Quyet Thang”.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Military Central Commission and National Defence, General Do Ba Ty praised highly the Academy’ achievements over the past 65 years, making great contributions to the national liberation, construction and defence.

He also urged the Academy to work harder to fulfill assigned tasks in the context of the twists and turns in the region and the world.
