Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Quang Ngoc extends Tet wishes to Sr. Lt. Gen. Be Xuan Truong.

In a warm atmosphere, General Ngoc expressed deep gratitude for the contributions of the former deputy defense ministers to the construction and development of the Vietnam People’s Army.

On the occasion of the Tet holiday, General Ngoc wished the former defense leaders good health and happiness. He also expressed his hope that they would continue to provide valuable opinions and experience to assist in building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern military, successfully fulfilling tasks assigned by the Party, State, and people.

* On February 3, a delegation of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), led by its Deputy Director Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Thien To, visited and extended Tet greetings to Sr. Lt. Gen. Do Can, former GDP Deputy Director. The delegation also inspected and offered Tet wishes to the Military Printing Company No.1, the Vietnam Military History Museum, and Unit 871.

Visiting Sr. Lt. Gen. Do Can, General To inquired after his health and briefed him on the GDP’s recent task performance achievements. General Do Can expressed his delight at the GDP’s development, especially regarding activities leading up to Party Congresses at all levels and major holidays.

At the Military Printing Company No.1, General To highly valued the unit’s efforts in 2025. Regarding tasks for 2026, he requested the company to strictly implement resolutions from higher levels, improve printing quality, and take good care of employees during the Tet holiday.

Working with the Vietnam Military History Museum, the GDP's deputy director appreciated its service to visitors. He noted that the museum should arrange scientific duty rosters to serve domestic and international visitors effectively while allowing staffers to celebrate the Tet holiday, ensuring absolute fire safety.

At Unit 871, General To urged the unit to strictly maintain combat readiness duties, care for the troops’ Tet celebrations, and prepare well for post-Tet training and education missions.
