GDP chief extends Tet greetings to former defense leaders
PANO - On January 17, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet visited and extended Tet greetings to former Defense Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich and former GDP Chief Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan.
In cozy atmosphere ahead of the upcoming lunar New Year 2025, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet briefed General Ngo Xuan Lich and Senior Lieutenant General Pham Thanh Ngan on the achievements of the whole military in 2024. Accordingly, in 2024, the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense directed the whole military to successfully complete all assigned tasks, ensure combat readiness and make recommendations to the Party and State to be ready in any circumstances, and firmly safeguard national sovereignty, to name but a few.
