At the working session, the Chain-of-Command of Defense-Economic Unit 327 reported that the unit had strictly followed higher-level directives and orders and ensured combat readiness at all levels. Party and political work was carried out systematically, helping maintain troops’ political stance and unity among troops. The unit also ensured logistics supplies and technical services and effectively performed its defense-economic tasks.

Concluding the inspection, Sr. Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung acknowledged the unit’s preparations and achievements. He noted that despite operating across a large and dispersed area, the unit strictly maintained combat readiness and closely monitored the border situation to be ready in any circumstances. It also comprehensively fulfilled its military and defense tasks during the first seven months of 2026.

Looking ahead, GDP's Vice Chairman asked the unit’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to strengthen leadership over combat readiness and strictly implement new directives. The unit was instructed to review its combat scenarios and operational plans in line with administrative boundaries and clearly define coordination mechanisms with commune-level military commands, the provincial military command, the provincial Border Guard Command, the Public Security force, and other relevant forces in the area. It was also asked to practice combat scenarios proficiently, intensify nighttime training in fragmented terrain, and strictly maintain combat readiness, particularly during peak periods.

Sr. Lt. Gen. Do Xuan Tung emphasized that the September 2 holiday comes immediately after the 50th anniversary of the unit’s foundation day, requiring officers and soldiers to be vigilant in any situations. The unit must strictly ensure combat readiness, discipline, and traffic safety, while ensuring absolute safety for personnel, weapons, warehouses, and barracks. It must also pay close attention to fire prevention, natural disaster response, and search and rescue, while continuing to strengthen the “people’s heart” posture.

He stressed that effective combat readiness depends on closely monitoring the area, making accurate assessments and forecasts, and detecting emerging situations early. The unit must develop practical plans, maintain sufficient on-duty personnel and equipment, and conduct proficient training to respond promptly to any situation. All activities, he said, must firmly rely on local Party committees, authorities, on-site forces, and the people to prevent unexpected situations.

Along with combat readiness tasks, Defense-Economic Unit 327 was required to complete the handover of Phase 3 of the Binh Lieu - Hai Ha - Mong Cai Defense-Economic Zone project and carry out mine clearance projects safely and on schedule.

The unit must also strictly manage defense land and accelerate administrative reform and digital transformation. It was also asked to continue effective mass mobilization, expand successful production models, and pro-actively advise local authorities on strengthening the political foundation. These efforts are aimed at enhancing the leadership capacity of Party organizations and building a comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” unit.
