Division 320 holds exercise to hone troops’ skills
PANO - On October 22, in Ea H’leo district, Dak Lak province, Division 320 of Army Corps 3 held an exercise along with a live-fire drill, themed “Mechanized infantry battalion attacks enemy at halt.”

Present at the event were Major General Nguyen Ba Luc, Commander of Army Corps 3; Major General Nguyen Van Lanh, Political Commissar of Army Corps 3; and representatives from local authorities.
According to a scenario, during a temporary defensive operation, the enemy exploits the terrain to build a strong fortification system, holds patrols around the area, and uses camouflage techniques. At the same time, they deploy reconnaissance devices and drones to survey the battlefield.

Assigned to attacking the enemy, Mechanized Infantry Battalion 2 of the division’s Regiment 48 flexibly applied combat tactics, quickly breaching, capturing key positions, maneuvering forces, and advancing in the battle.
Reportedly, all targets were successfully destroyed by the battalion’s troops.

The exercise aimed to accurately assess the command capabilities of officers at all levels, hone troops’ political stance and tactical and technical skills as well as their proficiency in using various types of new weapons and equipment in order to better meet increasingly higher requirements for missions in the current context.
