As planned, construction works for the monument area which covers an area of 3,600 square meters include walkways, platforms for symbolic statues, a technical infrastructure and equipment system. Statues are designed as full-body bronze sculptures, approximately 3 meters in height including the pedestal.
The construction is underway. A draft statue model by domestic leading sculptors is currently being consulting with respective countries regarding the content and form of each representation.
Having conducted a site inspection and heart reports on the progress of the construction, Gen. Giang highlighted its profound significance, symbolizing Vietnam’s gratitude for the international support provided during its struggles for national salvation.
