Commando Corps’ Party Committee issues resolution on 2026 tasks
PANO - On December 24, the Party Committee of the Commando Corps held a conference to issue a resolution on leading the implementation of tasks in 2026. Major General Nguyen Quoc Duan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Commando Corps, presided over the conference.
In 2025, the Party Committee of the Commando Corps has effectively fulfilled its advisory role to the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense regarding force construction and equipment investment. The unit has strictly maintained combat readiness regulations and ensured absolute safety for major political events. The Corps has also been highly appreciated for its participation in natural disaster relief and for ensuring safety and quality in exercises.

In addition, the Corps has also directed units to organize rigorous training with many innovations and creative approaches. The work of military education, regularity building, and discipline management has shown positive changes. Regarding the Party building work, the Corps’ Party Committee has successfully directed the organization of the 12th Party Congress of the Corps; strictly adhered to the principle of democratic centralism; and promoted inspection, supervision, and the fight against corruption.

Regarding the orientation for 2026, the Party Committee aims to build a “Clean, strong, exemplary, and typical” Party Organization and a “Revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern” commando force. The Corps strives to have 100% of officers and soldiers with firm political stance; strictly maintain combat readiness; and effectively implement breakthroughs in administrative reform, digital transformation, and the “Digital literacy movement.” The Corps is determined to be pro-active and innovative to successfully fulfill the tasks of 2026.
