At each stop, Sr. Col. Thuy praised participating troops for their dedication, determination, and a high sense of responsibility in assisting local residents in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, cleaning the environment, and stabilizing their lives after flooding. Their efforts have helped locals quickly restore production and daily activities while promoting good images of Uncle Ho’s soldiers - commando troops among people.

On this occasion, the delegation presented gifts to local households facing difficulties and suffering severe losses due to recent natural disasters. They encouraged local residents to continue overcoming hardships, stabilizing their livelihoods, and maintaining confidence in the leadership of local Party committee, authorities, and support of the armed forces.

As part of “Quang Trung Campaign,” Brigade 5 is responsible for building 26 houses for residents in Bac Ai Tay, My Son, Phuoc Hau, and Xuan Hai communes of Khanh Hoa province.
