The relief packages were prepared during the contingent's limited nighttime rest hours after long days of search and recovery operations in the disaster zones. Every package was carefully assembled to meet the most urgent needs of affected families, containing face masks, toilet paper, dried rations, canned meat, instant noodles, and other essential supplies.

"We extend our deepest sympathy to the people of Venezuela for the tremendous losses they have suffered. These modest gifts reflect the heartfelt support of the Vietnamese contingent. The Vietnamese people once endured many hardships ourselves, so we've deeply understood what you are going through. We firmly believe that the resilience of the Venezuelan people will help you overcome this difficult period as soon as possible," said Major General Pham Van Ty, Deputy Director of the Search and Rescue Department under the General Staff and head of the Vietnamese contingent participating in the post-earthquake relief operations in Venezuela.
