The commendation was made during a politico-military conference held by the Corps at Brigade 429 on July 10.
In the first half of this year, the Commando Corps pro-actively and effectively carried out all of its working aspects while strictly observing duty regulations, ensuring forces and equipment were prepared to respond promptly to any situation.

Outdoor, maritime, parachute training, and other specialized training activities were conducted with good quality and absolute safety.
The Corps also focused on promoting breakthroughs in science and technology. It successfully completed the acceptance of one research project rated “Excellent,” launched two defense ministry-level research projects, and compiled numerous grassroots-level studies, training materials, and instructional documents.
It effectively implemented higher-level resolutions, directives, and conclusions, while directing the effective implementation of action programs to realize the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels.

An overview of the conference |
In the reviewed period, the Corps handed over 15 comradeship houses, 10 gratitude houses and great solidarity houses to eligible beneficiaries, along with four houses for children of war veterans affected by Agent Orange/dioxin. Numerous mass mobilization and social welfare initiatives were implemented effectively and practically in areas where commando units are stationed.
In the coming time, the Commando Corps will continue to grasp developments, enhance its forecasting capability, maintain a high level of combat readiness, and respond promptly and effectively to all situations. It will also implement the "Command Automation" Project to improve command and control capabilities under new operational conditions.
It will further improve training quality, build comprehensively strong and exemplary, typical agencies and units, develop model units, and enhance force regularity.

In addition, the Commando Corps will continue to promote defense diplomacy by expanding commando cooperation and exchanges of experience with partner countries, while actively participating in the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) and ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus) Experts' Working Groups on Counter-Terrorism, and United Nations peacekeeping activities.
Addressing the conference, Major General Hoang Minh Son directed agencies and units to further enhance their advisory role, maintain a pro-active, scientific and practical working style, and ensure operational safety and information security in the execution of all assigned tasks.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening confidence among officers and soldiers, fostering solidarity and unity, promoting dedication, encouraging excellence in education and training, maintaining a high level of combat readiness, and standing ready to undertake and successfully accomplish all assignments.
