The meeting was co-chaired by Head of the Central Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh and Deputy Secretary of the CMC and Defense Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich.

Addressing the meeting, General Ngo Xuan Lich required the CMC members and representatives from responsible agencies of the CMC and Ministry of National Defense to discuss in detail the contents of the draft summary report, the draft project, and recommendations to the 12th CPC’s seventh Plenary Meeting. They focused on the structure and contents of the report and recommendations, reviewed the real situation of the personnel work, capacity building and management, lessons learnt from the real situations, direction and solutions for human resource development at all levels, especially at the strategic level, towards 2030, with a vision towards 2045.

Head of the Central Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh hailed the sense of responsibility of the CMC members and agencies of the CMC and Ministry of National Defense in supplementing important and substantial contents learnt from real situations in the military to the project.

Chinh acknowledged the contents contributed by the CMC to the CPP’s personnel project, including the enhancement of education on the political stance, working styles and ethics for officials and Party members at the strategic level; stricter building and management of a qualified contingent of officials; strengthening supervision and discipline inspection during the implementation of the personnel work, and more.

He affirmed that these are important contents contributed to the project of the CPC and the Steering Committee of the project will take in the recommendations to complete the draft documents to be submitted to the CPC’s seventh Plenary Meeting in the coming time.
