Administrative procedure reform in planning and investment sector reviewed

Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh said that during a conference on August 31 to review administrative procedure reform in planning and investment sector in August.

At the event, Gen. Vinh praised the Department of Planning and Investment for its efforts and achievements in carrying out administrative procedure reform in the sector.  

The Deputy Defense Minister said that in the coming time the department should accelerate the building of a database to create a foundation for digital transformation in planning and investment. He asked party committees and chains-of-command of agencies and units to drastically lead and direct the implementation of administrative procedure reform in the sector; review system of legal documents; come up with measures to raise the competence of planning and investment staff. 

The conference reviewed that over the past time the Department of Planning and Investment has strictly carried out administrative procedure reform in the sector and obtained positive results. In particular, the department has basically completed legal documents on planning and investment and advised defense leaders to issue circulars and regulations.

An overview of the conference

The department has actively built a database on planning and investment, pro-actively updated the State’s legal documents on the sector, and fostered dissemination and training to raise the capability of planning and investment staff in the whole military.
