General Staff should pioneer implementation of administrative reform and digital transformation

The defense leader said that to get the work done, the General Staff should closely follow directives on administrative reform and digital transformation of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of National Defense, considering it a prioritized content to direct functional agencies to comprehensively and synchronously carry out the work. He also emphasized the need to strengthen the dissemination of administrative reform and digital transformation work.

The conference agreed that units should actively reduce and simplify procedures; digitize administrative processes; promote decentralization and strengthen inspection and supervision; fix administrative procedure processes and cost; apply achievements of the fourth industrial revolution to management and direction; pay attention to building platforms and database; foster the implementation of digital transformation in military academies and schools toward building smart schools to meet higher task requirements.
