According to the report at the conference, in 2024, GDP Office implemented and comprehensively accomplished all set targets. The Office gave recommendations and directed the synchronous implementation of methods to raise the quality and efficiency of political and ideological education; timely provided information to orient troops’ thoughts amid complex and sensitive issues; pro-actively coordinated with other agencies and made thorough preparations for activities to celebrate the major events of the country and military, particularly the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, and 35th anniversary of the Whole-people Defense Festive Day. The emulation and commendation work was carried out in an effective manner.
The Office gave recommendations and proposed many solutions to enhance the leadership capacity, combat strength of the Party committees and organizations, and the quality of officers and Party members, while implementing documents for Party congresses at all levels in the Military Party Organization and drafted documents for the 12th Military Party Congress; and completing the review of Party building work and the implementation of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, among others.
In his remarks, Sr. Lt. Gen. Trinh Van Quyet applauded the outstanding achievements obtained by the GDP Office in 2024; pointed out limitations and shortcomings and required agencies and units to quickly address them.
In 2025, the GDP chief required the Office to continue to innovate and raise the quality and efficiency of the political and ideological education; promote the core role of forces in combating wrongful viewpoints and allegations of hostile forces. The Office should give advice and direct the organization of major and political events of the Party, the country, and the military; launch the “Determined to win” movement in 2025 and other emulation campaigns; and more.
Meanwhile, the Office should give recommendations to the Central Military Commission on reviewing the Party building work; direct the organization of Party congresses at all levels and the 12th Military Party Congress; implement the amended Law on Vietnam People's Army Officers and the detailed regulations and guidelines for its enforcement.

Regarding the building of the GDP Office, the Office should focus on implementing military tasks, inspections, investigations, and legal work; strictly observe combat readiness regulations and promote regularity building and discipline observance; boost administrative reforms and digital transformation, as well as application of information technology in professional tasks; and continue to enhance the quality of the Party, political, logistics, technical and financial work, meeting the task requirements.
Gen. Quyet hoped that all officers and staff of the GDP Office would heighten their determination and responsibility to successfully fulfill the tasks in 2025. On the occasion of the upcoming New Year 2025, he extended his best wishes for health, happiness, and success to all the officers and staff of the Office.
On the occasion, leaders of the GDP honored collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in task performance and the “Determined to win” movement in 2024.
