The exercise consists of both theory and practice. In the theoretical phase, combat teams are tested on staff, political and party work, and logistics and technical support. The practical phase involves multiple stages, namely shifting to higher states of combat readiness, organizing combat preparations, conducting combat operations, and implementing post-combat activities.

At the opening ceremony of the exercise

In his address, Gen. Hien highlighted the significant improvements made in recent years in the training of missile troops, particularly in enhancing command capacity, and combat performance of command post combat teams at all levels. He noted that the crews’ professional competence, operational skills, and resilience have improved markedly, enabling them to better meet tasks requirements.

Given the ADAF Service’s current tasks of combat readiness and sky management, and modernization, Gen. Hien stressed the urgent need for officers and soldiers to master new-generation weapons and equipment. Therefore, the exercise, with scenarios reflecting real-world conditions, not only evaluates combat training results and readiness ability, but also helps the crews gain practical experience, exchange knowledge, and further strengthen their command and coordination skills.
