The reattached finger is recovering well.

Upon admission, the medical staff promptly conducted examinations, assessments, and emergency surgery with the goal of preserving movement in the finger.

Four days after the surgery, the patient’s blood circulation, mobility, and sensory response in the operated finger showed promising signs of recovery. These positive results were attributed to the Vietnamese medical staff’s professional skills and timely intervention.

The successful operation of this complicated case under limited medical conditions once again affirmed the readiness and competence of the L2FH Rotation 6 team in fulfilling international medical duties.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Duc, the hospital’s director, emphasized the unit’s commitment to enhancing expertise, improving service quality, and providing the best possible care for U.N. personnel and the local community in the Unity area.
