Ambassador Khoi said that the embassy staff and overseas Vietnamese in Moscow have paid attention to and closely followed all activities of the delegation since their arrival in the capital city of Russia.

He confirmed that it is the first time Vietnam has sent its forces to take part in the parade in Moscow’s Red Square to mark the 80th anniversary of Russia’s victory in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 - 2025). This is significant to the Vietnam-Russia relations in general and the VPA in particular and is viewed as a symbol of the traditional friendship between Vietnam and former Soviet Union and today Russia.

According to the diplomat, the friendship ties have been inherited and continuously fostered by generations of the two countries, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world.

Ambassador Khoi expressed his emotion and pride when witnessing Vietnamese servicemen practicing in full spirit and high determination.

He inquired after each serviceman and hoped that they would surmount all difficulties and excellently complete their task assigned by the Party, State, and military, bringing about honor and pride for Vietnam and its military.

The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce several photos of the Ambassador’s visit to the VPA troops in Moscow.
