Products and services offered by military enterprises have created a distinctive shopping and experiential space at the fair, attracting large numbers of visitors. On the opening day, companies of Viettel, including Viettel Customer Service Company (VCX), Viettel Cambodia (Metfone), and eMoney company, organized a seminar featuring three topics: customer experience, cash flow digitization, and business protection in the AI era. The seminar introduced digital transformation solutions and services for businesses, offering practical approaches tailored to specific challenges in Cambodia to help enterprises improve operational efficiency and build long-term customer relationships.
Rotanak, a resident of Phnom Penh, shared that he has long been impressed by the quality of Vietnamese products. When he learned about the fair showcasing Vietnamese goods, he came here early with his friends. He found that the products on display this time offered a wide variety of designs and reliable quality, so he bought some as gifts for his family and friends.
Having studied in Viet Nam for four years, Rotanak is familiar with Vietnamese products and purchased several agricultural and garment items at the fair. Meanwhile, Chan Trea, from Prey Veng province, expressed great interest in performances by the Military Arts Troupe of Military Region 9 and activities in the Vietnamese Cultural Space at the fair. She said she planned to visit Viet Nam with her family soon to explore the country, experience its culture, and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine.

The organizers of VIDEX Cambodia 2026 expect the fair to serve as a concrete initiative to realize the target of raising bilateral trade to USD 20 billion, reaffirmed by the prime ministers of Viet Nam and Cambodia at the Viet Nam-Cambodia Business Forum 2026 during Vietnamese Prime Minister Le Minh Hung’s recent official visit to Cambodia.
As part of the fair, a business networking program was held between Vietnamese enterprises and members of the Cambodia Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. The program brought together representatives of 25 Vietnamese businesses and nine Cambodian businesses operating in real estate, agriculture, logistics, construction, consumer goods, and other sectors. At the program, representatives of Vietnamese and Cambodian enterprises signed memorandums of understanding to promote trade and strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to Senior Colonel Mai Quoc Truong, Deputy Chief of Staff of the General Department of Defense Industry, the fair is organized to implement the policies of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on closely and effectively integrating economic, social, and cultural activities with external relations, while strengthening international integration in the new situation.
The fair is expected to promote trade, increase bilateral trade turnover between Viet Nam and Cambodia, and provide an opportunity to widely promote Viet Nam’s image, country, people, and culture. It will also help raise awareness of the longstanding traditional friendship between the two countries.
